1. Scope
These terms describe a proposed Proton VPN service. The current website is a design demonstration and does not provide VPN connectivity, downloads, paid subscriptions, or service guarantees.
2. Eligibility
A future service may require users to meet the minimum legal age in their jurisdiction and have authority to accept these terms.
3. Accounts
Users would be responsible for accurate account information, credential security, and activity performed through their account. Suspected compromise should be reported promptly.
4. Acceptable use
The service must not be used to harm others, distribute malware, disrupt systems, violate intellectual-property rights, or conduct activity prohibited by applicable law.
5. Plans, billing, and cancellation
All prices on this concept site are illustrative. Final prices, taxes, renewal periods, refund rights, and cancellation methods must be shown before a user purchases a real subscription.
6. Availability
Network services can be interrupted by maintenance, outages, local restrictions, or events outside reasonable control. A production service should publish support and availability commitments separately.
7. Intellectual property
The Proton name, visual system, original copy, and software created for a production service would remain protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Third-party names belong to their respective owners.
8. Disclaimers and liability
Final warranty exclusions and liability limits must comply with consumer law and be reviewed for the jurisdictions where the service is offered.
